ByteZoo Labs
Tools for the work you actually do
An independent studio in Hamburg. We build narrow software for messy real jobs — a smarter clipboard, kiln billing for ceramic studios, a Mac that stays awake until your build finishes, and the dev utilities still on the bench.
Small studio, specific tools
ByteZoo Labs is a small independent studio — not a product factory. We make software for developers, potters, and anyone whose work doesn't fit a generic SaaS box.
Some apps live in your menu bar. Some run in the browser for a whole workshop. All of them aim to remove a specific kind of daily annoyance — and then get out of the way.
Narrow scope
One sharp problem per app. No platform dreams, no feature sprawl — just the job, handled well.
Local when it counts
On-device AI and encryption for Mac tools. EU hosting for studio software. Your data stays yours.
Built from daily use
Every product started as our own friction: copy-paste tedium, spreadsheet kiln bills, a Mac asleep mid-render.
From the studio
ClipBear
A keyboard-driven clipboard history that understands what you copy — URLs, colors, JSON, images, and more — right from your menu bar.

WakeLemur
Keep your Mac awake — until the work is actually done.
Watch a process, not a clock
A tiny, clean menu-bar app that keeps your Mac awake — by the clock, or until a process you care about finishes its work. Point it at your build, training run, render, or AI session; it stays awake while the work is busy, then sleeps moments after it goes idle.
